I need a licensed engineer who can issue a formal compliance certification for a small structural shed that sits on my residential property. The local council requires an engineering sign-off confirming the shed meets all relevant building codes before they will approve the final occupancy documents for the home.
Scope
• Review the shed’s existing drawings and any photos or material specs I supply.
• Confirm that the current construction aligns with applicable residential standards (wind loads, footing depth, bracing, connections, etc.).
• If minor adjustments are needed, outline them clearly so my contractor can make the fixes.
• Once everything is satisfactory, provide a stamped compliance certificate (PDF is fine) suitable for council submission.
