Reinforcement Shop Drawings for Townhouses Project – Florida (RebarCAD / AutoCAD / ACI 318)
Budget: $350 – $500 USD
We are developing a 9-unit townhouse project in Florida. We are seeking an experienced structural reinforcement detailer to prepare rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules based on our structural engineer’s design drawings.
You will create complete, fabrication-ready drawings similar to the attached sample set.
Scope of Work
1. Prepare reinforcement shop drawings for all structural elements.
2. Produce bar bending schedules (BBS):
• Bar marks, diameters, lengths, bends, hooks, and quantities
• Grouped by pour sequence (foundation → vertical → slab → roof)
3. Follow these standards:
• ACI 318 / Florida Building Code
• Bar shapes per CRSI / RebarCAD library
• Cover, splice, and hook dimensions per ACI 318 Table 25.3
• Units: Imperial (feet / inches)
4. Deliverables:
• Editable DWG + PDF shop drawings
• Excel / PDF bar bending schedule (weight summary)
• Layered and clearly organized drawings
Requirements
• Strong experience with RebarCAD, AutoCAD, or CADS USA for rebar detailing
• Familiar with ACI 318, CRSI, and U.S. reinforcing standards
• Ability to produce clean, fabrication-ready bar lists
• Attention to accuracy (lap splices, hooks, cover clearances, etc.)
• Previous experience with U.S. townhouse or small-building projects preferred
Timeline
• Start immediately upon receiving structural set
• Full project completion expected within 2–3 weeks
