It should present the techniques and concepts you have selected as well as examples of engineering calculations and analysis.
The purpose of this section is to provide justification for the selection of your techniques and methods and their link to the aims of the project. It should explain your decisions and evaluations. This could include:
• examples of calculations you have undertaken
• technical assessments of methods
• any modelling you have undertaken.
You will be assessed on how effectively you have chosen and then used the techniques and analysis from your chosen discipline. So, items such as the merit of your approach, accuracy and relevance will be considered.
It is important that you incorporate engineering knowledge from across your study.
