Peterson Bar

This is a basement wall that i opened is 6'. Eight foot ceiling.There is an open hallway above the wall. Underneath the basement wall is a I beam that runs parallel with the wall I opened. I used (2) LVL 9.5" for the new header. 3-4 king studs with 2 jacks for the LVL pocket. The city of Castle Pines wants a letter for some reason from a engineer.
