Parametric Structural Configurator Build

Job ID: 40226724

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We're turning a library of engineered shade and tensile structures into an online, parametric configurator and need a technically minded partner who can bridge structural engineering logic with clean, modern code.

What you will actually do
• Map the existing engineering rules, sizing tables and load cases into algorithms that drive real-time geometry and BOM output.
• Build—or work alongside me to build—the web experience where a user selects a base model, adjusts spans, heights and fabric options, and instantly sees only configurations that remain within the predefined structural limits.
• Keep the architecture scalable so new modules, fabrics or connection types drop in without rewrites.

We’ll supply the product drawings, design tables and the visual style guide; you bring the know-how to convert them into code we can maintain. You must utilise Ai because the pace will be fast, we will be developing quickly! This is on-going work with no set deadline.

Our end goal is to have all of these features:
- Import 3D site scans or plans
- Have a library of standard configurable deisgns
- Parameter-controlled configuration
- Real-time estimating and quoting
- Sales presentation outputs
- Integration with wind code software
- Integration with engineering software
- Engineering drawing outputs
- Full fabrication and workshop output packs

To be considered, point me to past work that proves you’ve tackled either a complex configurator, a geometry-heavy web tool, or another project where engineering constraints had to be enforced in real time. I’m happy to discuss milestones, preferred libraries and data models once I see examples that match the ambition of this build.
