PLS-Pole Substation Gantry Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a strain gantry for a substation whose primary duty is to support electrical equipment. The structure must be modelled and analysed exclusively in PLS-Pole; please come with a licensed, up-to-date copy of the software because I will send you a full set of load cases and environmental factors as soon as we engage.
The installation sits in an industrial area, so the design has to accommodate wind turbulence, vibration from nearby machinery, higher contamination levels and the clearances required for heavier conductors and fittings. I have the electrical layout, conductor data, basic foundation constraints and the utility’s design criteria ready to share. Your task is to translate these inputs into a complete, verifiable PLS-Pole model and produce drawings and calculations fit for my internal approval cycle.
Deliverables
• Native PLS-Pole model files with all load cases entered
• PDF export of framing, member lists and connection details
• Brief calculation report summarising assumptions, governing load combinations, utilisation ratios and deflection checks
