Minor Porch Column Revision
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a complete structural set for a new-build residence in Florida and only need a pinpoint change before resubmitting for permit. The two 8-in. × 8-in. front-porch columns, along with their supporting beam, must shift exactly 1 ft back toward the house. Everything else on the drawings stays as is.
The current plans are in PDF, so a clean red-ink markup in that same format is perfectly acceptable—provided each revised sheet carries your Florida PE stamp, signature, and date. No special dimensions have been issued beyond standard practice, and the scope is restricted strictly to the porch columns and beam.
Deliverables
• Marked-up PDF sheet(s) with revision clouds and notes documenting the 1 ft relocation.
• Florida Professional Engineer seal, signature, and date on every revised sheet (and a brief cover letter if your practice prefers one).
Acceptance Criteria
– The only change visible is the column/beam move; no unintended edits elsewhere.
– PDF prints clearly at 24 × 36 in. and is ready for direct upload to the county portal.
Once I supply the original PDF set, let me know your turnaround time and any additional info you might need.
