We are looking for an experienced freelance structural engineer to design two (2) light gauge steel buildings, each 3 stories high, with a combined total built-up area of approximately 60,000 square feet.

The project requires full structural design suitable for construction, including calculations and drawings for light gauge steel framing systems.

Project Scope
--------------------------

Structural design of 2 separate buildings

3 stories per building

Light gauge steel structural system

Total area: ~60,000 sq ft (combined)

Design to include:

Structural analysis and calculations

Member sizing and connections

Framing plans (floors, walls, roof)

Load assumptions (dead, live, wind, seismic as applicable)

Coordination with architectural layout (to be provided)

Deliverables in CAD (and calculation files)


Requirements
-------------------

Proven experience in light gauge steel structural design

Experience with multi-story buildings

Familiarity with relevant design codes (AISI / AISC / local or international codes as applicable)

Ability to work independently as a freelancer

Experience with tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, Tekla, or similar

Engineers based in China or with China project experience are preferred, but not mandatory

Complete structural drawings suitable for construction

Editable CAD files

Final PDF submission
