NC Licensed Structural Engineer
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a North Carolina-licensed structural engineer who can prepare, seal, structural drawings for a new-build single-family residence. The architectural plans are finalized and some of the structural design is done. I am needing help with changes that will code-compliant structurally , I will need stamped drawings for use with the local permitting office.
Scope
• Review my PDFs/CAD files, confirm load paths, sizing, and connections for foundations, framing, roof, and lateral systems in line with the current NC Residential Code.
• Produce signed and sealed drawings (PDF + DWG) and any supporting calcs ready for submission. CAD or another professional platform is fine as long as the final output is clear and permit-ready.
• Address one round of plan-checker comments, if any, so the permit sails through on the first or second pass.
