House Relocation and Foundation Plan
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm looking for a North Carolina structural engineer or architect to create a foundation plan for my single-story medium-sized house (33 ft by 34 ft ) and one outbuilding (18 ft by 22 ft) which I am moving to a new site in Harnett County, Sanford, North Carolina. See attached drawing. The 16 ft dimension of the outbuilding will be increased to 22 ft to provide space for a half bath.
Key requirements include:
- Previous experience with creating robust foundation plans in North Carolina
- An in-depth understanding of constructing house foundations on sandy soils.
- Knowledge of North Carolina and county building codes
- A detail-oriented approach.
We would like to submit the plan for the county permit in the next two weeks for the house move scheduled for mid April.
