High-Rise SSI Analysis (SAP2026)
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a complete SAP2000 study that contrasts fixed-base and flexible-base behaviour for a high-rise reinforced-concrete building located in Seismic Zone V of India. You will receive the full set of building dimensions and layout, material properties and all service and seismic load conditions; model them faithfully in SAP2000, ensuring compliance with IS 456 and IS 1893 (latest editions).
The core of the task is the soil–structure interaction investigation. Create a flexible-base model that captures
• different soil types (hard, medium, soft),
• layered strata of varying thicknesses, and
• the influence of soil non-linearity.
Run a clear parametric sweep of soil stiffness values, then compare each case with the fixed-base benchmark.
Deliverables
• Separate .sdb files for every soil configuration and the fixed-base case
• A concise technical report (Word or PDF) containing:
– fundamental period shifts, drift amplification factors and base-shear changes, tabulated and charted side-by-side
– discussion of trends and code compliance commentary
• A spreadsheet summarising raw output data for peer-review reproduction
