Flat-Roof Precast Garage Shade
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a specialist who can design a precast concrete garage shade with a flat roof capable of comfortably sheltering five vehicles side-by-side. The structure must be fully self-supporting, engineered for local wind and load conditions, and include integrated lighting that can be wired straight into my existing electrical panel.
Key points you should cover in your proposal:
• Overall span, column spacing, and footing requirements for a five-car bay (scetch attached)
• Precast panel and beam specifications, including concrete grade, reinforcement, and connection details
• Lighting layout, fixture specs, and conduit routing integrated into the precast elements
• Finishing options for exposed concrete surfaces (smooth, textured, or painted)
• Step-by-step installation timeline from casting to final hand-over, with estimated durations for each stage
• Compliance with relevant building codes and any required permits
Deliverables I expect:
1. Complete structural drawings and calculations stamped by a licensed engineer
2. Shop drawings for all precast components
3. Bill of materials and cost breakdown (materials, labour, transport, crane)
4. Electrical drawings for the integrated lighting system (optional)
If you have experience with large-span precast canopies, please share photos, drawings, or references from similar projects. I’m ready to move quickly once the design is approved, so let me know your earliest availability for a site visit and any lead times for casting.
