ETABS / SAFE Structural Modeling
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a structural engineer who can build complete ETABS and SAFE models for both commercial and residential buildings. You’ll start from my architectural drawings, translate them into accurate 3-D analytical models, run all necessary gravity and lateral load combinations, and return files that are clean, well-organized, and ready for peer review.
Please highlight your experience with CSI tools, especially any projects where you coordinated an ETABS super-structure with a SAFE foundation slab or mat. When you respond, tell me how many similar buildings you have modeled and how you typically structure your model layers, load patterns, and design combos.
Deliverables I expect:
• ETABS file (.edb) with all load cases, combinations, and design preferences saved
• SAFE file (.fdb) linked to the ETABS export, fully meshed and ready for foundation checks
• A concise PDF summarizing modeling assumptions, material properties, and any code parameters used
