LS-DYNA Rockfall Impact on Reinforced Concrete Simulation and Validation -- 4

Job ID: 40151871

Budget: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 INR

What I need from you is a full-scale LS-DYNA model that captures a rockfall striking a reinforced-concrete target and experimental validation.

Primary objective
The study centres on structural damage. I want to see how the concrete block fractures, how reinforcement yields, where spalling initiates, and how the overall integrity degrades after impact.

Depth of analysis
Please push the solver to deliver highly detailed, comprehensive output—contact forces, stress and strain histories, crack development, residual displacements, and energy balance —resolved at a fine temporal step. I will be correlating these numbers with the drop-test data, so the closer you can mirror the experimental data, the better.

Visualisation
Both 2D plots and 3D animations are essential. LS-PrePost is the preferred route.

Key deliverables
• LS-DYNA keyword deck, fully commented
• Brief setup note on assumptions, contact definitions, and chosen material cards
• Post-processing scripts or LS-PrePost session files that generate plots
• A concise comparison overlaying numerical and experimental damage metrics, with screenshots of matching crack patterns

Acceptance criteria
1. Simulation and validation of displacement and impact force profiles.
2. Concrete cracking profiles in the model correspond to the experimentally observed fracture zones.
3. All requested visualisations run without manual intervention on my workstation (LS-PrePost).
