Convention Hall Structural Design Planning

I’m starting this convention hall project from a clean sheet—no architectural drawings exist yet—so I need a structural specialist who can guide the concept from day one through permitting and construction. Your brief covers three core responsibilities: producing full structural designs and drawings, visiting the site to evaluate conditions first-hand, and delivering the calculation package that local authorities will want to see.
From schematic sketches through final stamped plans, I’ll look to you to size and detail every member, connection and foundation element in compliance with applicable codes. During site visits you’ll confirm soil conditions, identify any constructability issues early, and provide written inspection notes that fold back into the design. The calculation set should document load paths, wind and seismic checks, live-load allowances for exhibition floors, and any specialty analysis you deem necessary—feel free to lean on ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro or your preferred platform; just provide the raw files alongside sealed PDFs.

• Complete structural analysis report with assumptions, load cases and results
• on-site evaluations with brief inspection reports
• Ongoing design clarifications during the contractor’s tender stage
