Commercial Post-Tension Building Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a full structural design package for a new commercial buildings that will rely on a post-tension concrete system. The architectural layouts are ready; what I now require is the engineering expertise to translate those plans into a safe, efficient, and code-compliant post-tension solution.
You should be comfortable sizing and detailing post-tension slabs, beams, and foundations, optimising tendon layouts for both strength and economy, and coordinating with typical commercial-grade MEP penetrations. If you normally work in ETABS, SAFE, RAM Concept, or similar analysis tools and draft in AutoCAD or Revit, you will fit right in with the rest of the project team.
Because the exact end-use mix of the commercial space is still being finalised, please design for general commercial loading; I will provide the final occupancy breakdown before you lock the numbers.
Deliverables I expect from you:
• Complete structural calculations, stamped or ready for peer review
• Post-tension tendon layout drawings with profiles, stressing forces, and anchor schedules
• General arrangement drawings (plans, sections, details) in DWG and PDF
• Material specifications and construction notes aligned with local building code
• A brief design report explaining assumptions, load paths, and PT advantages for this project
I’m ready to answer any follow-up questions and can supply CAD backgrounds, geotech, and architectural files immediately. Let’s create a robust post-tension design that keeps the project on schedule and within cost.
