Commercial Concrete Pool Engineering Australia

Job ID: 40585996

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I need a complete reinforced-concrete swimming pool design for a site in Queensland that will operate as a commercial facility. The concept has not been locked into a specific shape yet, so I am open to your professional advice on the most efficient geometry; what matters is that the structure meets Australian Standards (AS 3600, AS /NZS 1170 series, and local council requirements) and is robust enough to handle continuous public use. Australia

Because the pool will include a diving board, I expect special attention to deeper-end load cases, impact and shear reinforcement, and the detailing of the platform anchorage. Please allow for the additional wall thickness, stepped floor profile, and any anti-slip finishes that the code requires around diving areas.

I will supply the site survey, soil report, and preliminary concept sketches once the project starts. Your task is to turn those inputs into a fully engineered package that a certifier can sign off without major revisions. AutoCAD or Revit drawings are preferred, and I am comfortable reviewing models in BIM 360 if that speeds collaboration. STAAD, RAPT, or equivalent structural analysis files should accompany the calculations.

Deliverables
• Signed structural calculations with load-case summaries
• Reinforcement schedules and bending schedules (PDF + DWG)
• General arrangement plans, elevations, and sections ready for council submission
• Details for diving board footings, brackets, and splash-zone finishes
• Waterproofing and construction joint specification
• Brief hydraulic layout showing inlet/outlet locations to keep coordination simple

Acceptance criteria: drawings must pass an independent certifier’s first-round review and be delivered in both PDF and native file formats. If anything is unclear, tell me early so we keep the timeline tight.
