Architectural & Design Partner – EV Charging Sites
Engagement Type: Contractual, project-based (per site)
Location: Remote + site visits as needed (Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and across India)
Duration: Commissioned per site project
Scope of Work
The selected agency/partner will be responsible for:
• Site Planning & Architectural Design
o Develop detailed site layouts covering canopy, parking, vehicle movement flow (cars + buses), landscaping, and amenities.
o Ensure optimal use of space while prioritizing safety, accessibility, and user convenience.
• Structural & Electrical Integration
o Provide structural designs for canopy, foundation, and other site elements.
o Work with electrical vendors to integrate transformer, LT/HT panels, cabling trenches, and charger placement into site layouts.
• Bill of Materials (BoM)
o Generate a detailed BoM for civil, structural, and architectural works to support vendor quotations and budgeting.
• 3D Rendering & Visualization
o Deliver 3D renders and visualizations for internal approvals and client presentations.
o Highlight brand placement, signage, and user experience aspects.
• Compliance & Standards
o Ensure designs comply with state regulations, safety norms, and industry standards (fuel station/charging infra best practices).
Required Experience
• Prior experience designing fuel stations, EV charging stations, or retail infra projects with canopy and parking layouts.
• Strong portfolio of architectural layouts + 3D renders for infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of structural and electrical coordination (transformers, panels, cabling).
• Proven track record of working on multi-stakeholder projects with contractors and vendors.
• Ability to deliver detailed drawings + renders within strict timelines.
Deliverables (per site)
1. Site layout drawings (architectural + electrical + structural integration).
2. BoM for civil, canopy, and site infrastructure.
3. 3D rendering/visualization of the charging station.
4. Final handover package for contractors/vendors to execute.
