Certified Steel Building Blueprints
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a licensed U.S. engineer to review, stamp, and finalise a complete plan set for a 40 × 80 ft steel-framed building that uses wooden trusses. All calculations and drawings must comply with the applicable State codes; city- or county-specific amendments are not required at this stage.
Scope of work
The base deliverable is a fully detailed, certifiable package for the 40 × 80 building, plus scalable data so the same design can be expanded to 50 × 100, 60 × 120, 70 × 140, and 80 × 160 without re-engineering the core structural concept. Every sheet has to carry your professional seal so I can submit directly to permitting.
Required content
• Full architectural blueprints: foundation, framing, elevations, sections, connection details, and any structural notes.
• Engineering calculations with load capacities, live-dead-wind-snow analysis, and member sizing.
• Materials list specifying the exact type and quantity of steel, the type and quantity of wood for the trusses, and all fasteners or hardware.
• Simple exterior rendering that shows cladding and roof lines for visual reference.
• Rights transferred to me upon final payment, with the option for reasonable revisions as needed for approval.
Acceptance criteria
1. Drawings and calcs meet State code review without correction requests.
2. Member schedules match the materials list precisely.
3. Scalable sizes maintain code compliance and proportional loads.
4. Digital files supplied in PDF and an editable CAD format.
Tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD/ETABS are fine as long as the output is clear and professional. Let me know your typical turnaround time for first draft and final stamp; I am ready to move forward immediately.
