Cable-Stayed Pedestrian Bridge Design

Job ID: 39940754

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m planning a small steel cable-stayed bridge that will serve pedestrian access only, and I need a structural engineer who can turn my preliminary concept into a sound, build-ready package that respects international bridge design standards.

Scope
• Verify span, pylon height, and stay layout for a lightweight pedestrian load case.
• Produce basic structural calculations (dead, live, wind, vibration, thermal) in a clear PDF report so local reviewers can trace every assumption.
• Draft concise general-arrangement and member sizing drawings (plan, elevation, typical sections) in CAD/DWG.
• Provide a simple bill of steel quantities for budgeting.

I’m looking for an efficient, practical solution rather than an exhaustive set of drawings; an initial concept package that a fabricator can price and a local engineer can later refine is perfect. If you’re comfortable with steel detailing, cable-stayed behavior, and the relevant international codes, I’d love to see recent examples of similar pedestrian bridges or towers you’ve designed.

if you have done a similar design before and you can send samples we would like hear from you.
