Australian Raised Subfloor Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m planning a new residential build of roughly 100–200 m² and need a structural engineer to create and certify a compliant raised subfloor system from scratch. The home will be constructed in Australia, so every detail must satisfy the current NCC/BCA requirements and the relevant Australian Standards.
Because I have no existing layout, you’ll guide the concept, decide on the most suitable materials (timber, steel or a mix), and develop full engineering documentation ready for council and builder use.
Deliverables
• Concept and detailed structural drawings of the complete subfloor: footings, bearers, joists, bracing and connections, supplied in PDF and an editable CAD format.
• Supporting calculations and design notes demonstrating compliance with Australian codes.
• Formal engineer’s certificate (Form 15 or equivalent) for submission to my certifier.
Please outline your accreditation, the software you’ll use (Revit, AutoCAD, Structural Toolkit, etc.), and an indicative timeline for draft and final sign-off when you reply.
