ANSYS T-Beam Parametric Optimization
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a clean, repeatable ANSYS Workbench set-up that lets me run a parametric study on a simple cantilever beam with a T-shaped cross-section. My main goal is a general optimisation of parameters rather than chasing only one metric, so the workflow should allow me to explore trade-offs easily.
Parameter to optimise
• Thickness of the T-section flange/web
Constraints that must always be enforced
• Maximum stress limits
• Geometric constraints
• Material limits
What I expect from you
– A fully documented Workbench project file with DesignModeler/SpaceClaim geometry, properly linked Parameter Set, Static Structural analysis, and a Response Surface or equivalent optimisation module set to vary thickness.
– A short write-up (PDF or Word) that walks through your set-up choices, shows the convergence history, and summarises the optimal thickness value found under the stated constraints.
– Screenshots or a brief video capture demonstrating that changing the thickness parameter automatically updates the mesh, solution, and result plots without errors.
If you prefer to incorporate additional variables such as length, width, or height, structure the model so they can be toggled on later. Please make sure the file opens in ANSYS 2021 R2 or newer with no missing dependencies.
