ABAQUS FEA Structural Engineer
Budget: $200 – $500 USD
I need detailed finite-element simulations carried out in ABAQUS for a structural problem I am working on. Because design decisions hinge on these results, a solid structural-engineering background is essential; please bring a clear grasp of mechanics, load paths, and code-level safety checks to the table.
Scope
You will build or refine the ABAQUS model, assign appropriate material definitions, apply the load cases and boundary conditions I provide, then run and post-process the analysis. Typical outputs I expect include stress and strain contours, reaction forces, displacement plots, and any stability or fatigue indicators relevant to the scenario.
Deliverables
• ABAQUS *.cae and *.inp files ready for re-run, and .odb files.
• A concise PDF report summarising modelling assumptions, mesh sensitivity, key results and interpretation
• High-resolution images/plots suitable for design documentation
Acceptance Criteria
Results must converge within the mesh study limits we agree on, and the report should clearly show that boundary conditions and loads reflect the brief I will send after award.
