Stripe Setup & Account Activation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My personal website will charge clients for service payments, so I need Stripe configured end-to-end and the account moved from test to live. The job covers both the technical integration and the paperwork Stripe asks for during activation.
Key points
• Accept credit/debit cards as well as digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
• Enable recurring payments so clients can sign up for subscription-based services.
• Prepare and submit every required document (identity, business details, compliance forms, bank verification, etc.) until Stripe confirms the account is active.
• Implement secure, PCI-compliant checkout on the site, test in sandbox, then switch to production keys.
• Provide a short hand-off guide showing where credentials are stored, how to create new subscription plans, and how to view payouts.
Acceptance criteria
1. Stripe dashboard shows “Live” status with no outstanding verification requests.
2. A test transaction for a one-off service charge and another for a subscription both succeed in live mode.
3. Checkout supports cards and Apple/Google Pay on compatible devices.
4. All code, keys, and documentation are delivered in a repo or shared folder I can access anytime.
