Stripe Annual Subscription Integration

I need to turn every listing on my Wordpress business directory into an annual, Stripe-powered subscription. The flow should be simple for the user: they fill in the “Add Listing” form, are taken straight to Stripe Checkout, pay, and come back to a confirmation page where their listing is instantly published.

• Website is built with Wordpress ListingPro Theme
• Listings are only available as paid entries—no free tier.
• Payment is a single, automatically renewing annual subscription handled through Stripe.
• Webhooks have to keep my directory in sync: activate on successful payment, suspend if a renewal fails or the customer cancels.

• Stripe product & price setup (test and live).
• Seamless Checkout integration tied to the existing listing submission form.
• Secure webhook endpoint updating listing status (active, paused, cancelled) in real time.
• Clear success/failure messaging for the user plus an admin-side log.

Acceptance test: a dummy user submits a listing, completes payment, sees it live; cancelling the subscription in Stripe automatically unpublishes that listing.
