Finish Shopify Checkout Build
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
My Shopify store is almost ready, but the checkout flow is still only half-done. I need someone who has already built production-grade Shopify checkouts to take it from “in progress” to fully live.
Here is what remains:
• Complete the entire checkout process, ensuring it follows Shopify best practices and passes PCI compliance checks.
• Integrate Stripe as the sole third-party payment gateway, configuring webhooks and testing for successful, failed, and refunded transactions.
• Put in place the usual quality-of-life touches—cart persistence, error handling, mobile responsiveness, and basic analytics events (add-to-cart, begin-checkout, purchase).
Acceptance criteria:
1. A shopper can move from cart to order confirmation without encountering console errors or validation loops.
2. Orders appear in the Shopify admin with correct payment status coming from Stripe.
3. Test orders paid with Stripe’s test cards show the proper success, fail, and refund states.
4. The flow looks and works the same on modern desktop browsers and current iOS/Android devices.
I’m working with a total budget of roughly $2 k and would like everything wrapped up within 4–8 weeks, so please outline how you break the work into milestones to stay on time and on budget.
If you have solid, verifiable experience finishing Shopify checkouts and wiring in Stripe, I’m keen to hear how you would tackle this final stretch.
