SWOT Analysis Report & Presentation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Required to write a report and a presentation to conduct a SWOT analysis for a business operating in the UAE. SWOT analysis (or SWOT matrix) is a strategic planning and management technique used to help a person or organization identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to business competition or project planning. The report should be organized into:
Report:
Font: 12-point Dubai / Calibri; single line spacing; at least 2 cm margins
o Use numbered/alphabetized headings to separate each section.
o the word count should be around 1350-1500 words (the report should be about 6-8 pages).
· Table of contents.
· Summary:
(Which provides a brief within 100 words to help the reader understand the key points in the project).
Includes the purpose, research methods, conclusions, and parallel recommendations.
· Introduction:
Includes a brief description of the organization selected.
Includes the significance of your topic and problems/situations raised.
· Main body: should address the following subtopics:
Ø Body of report
Presents the findings of the research using an appropriate structure.
Ø SWOT analysis diagram
Ø Discussion and conclusions
(You are expected to reflect on the key findings and, more importantly, your own learning from the project).
Ø Recommendations
(Based on your analysis, what are your suggestions for strategic planning?)
References: Minimum 8 new references.
A reference list in APA style must be provided. The report must also include proper in-text citations of the used resources, as per the APA style. (Cite your references both in the main text and in the list of references.)
The references list must be arranged in alphabetical order (A, B, C…Z)
Ø Appendices (any supporting material can be attached to the report)
Presentation:
- Around 7-9 slides to be presented in max.
- The slides should be appropriately titled and numbered.
The presentation should be organized into:
· Summary (a brief description of the chosen case).
· Main body: should ONLY address the following:
o SWOT analysis.
o Discussion and conclusions
o Recommendations
o References list.
