Abstract Storyboard for Film

I’m preparing a short film that will rely heavily on mood, rhythm, and colour rather than literal depiction, so I need its entire visual flow mapped out in an abstract storyboard. The end product should speak to viewers of all ages, capturing emotion and movement through stylised shapes, colour blocking, and dynamic composition rather than detailed character likeness.

Here’s what I’m after: a complete set of panels that cover the whole screenplay, each frame annotated with timing notes, suggested camera moves, and any key lighting or sound cues that influence the visual language. If you like working in Photoshop, Procreate, Storyboard Pro, or even pencil-and-paper scans, that’s fine—clarity and creativity matter more than the specific tool.

We’ll start with a quick conversation so I can share the script and the overarching tone I’m aiming for. Once you’ve had a chance to read it, please send back a rough thumbnail pass; after my approval, you can flesh those out into finished abstract panels.
