NetApp FAS2820 Installation in Data Center
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm in need of a skilled professional for the physical installation of two NetApp FAS2820 appliances at each of my sites' data center in Qatar. The selected freelancer will be responsible for:
- Connecting the storage appliances to the network and power, including essential cabling and required labeling.
- Pulling, routing, and labeling fiber cables (long patch cords) to connect the appliances to the network.
- Conducting a basic power on test and initial configuration to get the appliances online and ready for remote access.
Please note that while detailed configuration will be handled by the NetApp team remotely, the freelancer will need to provide access and coordinate with the NetApp team to ensure complete configuration, including data volume creation and replication configuration/testing.
A few specific requirements:
- The appliances will need to be connected with C13-C14 cables to the PDU available in the rack.
- Adhering to client-specific labeling standards will be crucial.
Ideal candidates should have prior experience with NetApp installation, data center operations, and following specific labeling standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the NetApp team are also essential.
