Optimize STM32H7 GPIO Output Speed

Job ID: 39837594

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need small STM32H7 firmware that outputs data from RAM to a GPIO pin as fast as possible. We have 1 pin for data and 1 pin for clock. The data must be present on the GPIO before we activate the clock up and down. The goal is to reach at least 16MHz for this job, but reaching 30MHz would be the ultimate goal (bonus if it’s possible). To get those speeds, you need to optimize the code and know what you are doing, you cannot just use HAL_GPIO_WRITE. We need something more clever, possibly with timers or some other hardware functionality.

The firmware must be developed for NUCLEO-H753ZI. It would help if you have the hardware, but it's not required. I have the hardware on my side and will be able to test your firmware and provide feedback. I also have a logic analyzer to measure the output speed that we are able to reach.

Please start your proposal with *STM32H7* to show that you have read the project description. Include in your proposal the cost/time to develop this. Mention any relevant experience that you may have related to fast outputs on GPIOs and speeds you were able to reach (it's okay if you have never done that fast).

This could lead to many more jobs on that hardware as we have a huge firmware to build for this project, this being just the first step of many.
