Metal detector for smaller gold nuggets

I am looking to hire someone to assist in creating a pulse induction metal detector that can detect smaller gold nuggets in the size range of 0.1-1 gram with a detection depth of 5-10 inches. My budget for the project is $1300. I have a working prototype that requires improvements regarding the microcontroller, the PCB, the coil and the housing.
