Urgent XLSTAT Statistical Modeling Assistance
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am urgently in need of help with statistical modeling in XLSTAT. An understanding of a variety of statistical models is crucial for this task, as I did not specify the type of model I will be using.
Skills and experience needed:
- Proficiency in XLSTAT
- Advanced understanding of differing statistical models
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner
- A strong background in statistics
While this job needs to be done ASAP, I am also looking for quality work.
Aiming to better understand the differences between salaries of graduates, the university has collected data from a sample 558 members of alumni. The data include salary of 186
Marketing majors, 186 HR and 186 Accounting graduates based on years of experience upon graduation from the School of Business.
The data reflects:
- Starting salary of our graduates in Marketing, HR and Accounting
- GPA of Accounting students
- Whether Marketing students took part in the coop program (No=0 and yes=1)
- Years of work experience upon graduation for all the streams
* Assume the collected data has normal distribution
Instructions:
1. Conduct a descriptive analysis of the sample focusing on Accounting Students (GPA, Years of Experience and Salary) report on measures of central location and variance for
two different variables, also use a graph to describe one of the variables.
2. Is there a relationship between GPA and Salary for Accounting students, use a graph to depict this relationship and conduct correlation analysis?
3. Can the University infer significant differences exist between salary of their marketing and HR graduates.
4. Estimate the mean salary of HR students with 95% confidence.
5. Estimate with 95% confidence the portion of marketing students that took part in coop (code 1 from the dataset).
6. Perform a statistical test using a 5% significance level to determine whether there is sufficient statistical evidence to infer that there are differences in graduate salary between the 3 streams, differences in years of experience between the three categories, or interaction between graduate salary and experience?
Assume significance level of .05 when needed.
Answer each question on a separate Excel Sheet using Data Analysis and Data Analysis Plus or XLSTAT.
Each excel sheet should include the following:
Analysis:
1) State your chosen method of analysis
2) present the test results in tables (Make sure to present the complete and relevant Excel output (Table) for each of the questions).
Note: If the question involves hypothesis testing present the null and alternative hypothesis.
Discussion:
For each question briefly discus the findings of the study, what do they mean? how can they aide in decision making?
