Statistics and Mathematical Probability Expert To Help Me Brainstorm A Few Hours

I'm trying to hire a statistics / mathematical probabilities expert to help me play this game and win with the highest score possible.
Please see the game called "DeathRace Game Board".
The goal is to get as high of a score as possible. There is 1x "death tile" on each row, where if you choose that tile you lose.
*The number on each tile represents how many points you'll get, AND the weighted risk of it being a "death tile".
It's weighted - meaning a tile with a 10 on it has 10x times the risk of being a death tile versus a tile with a 1 on it. (See "Actual game parameters given information.png")
I've done some calculations - see the assumed probabilities picture.
I need help figuring out a mathematical way and strategically formulating the best way to get the most points possible. I don't need to "cross" to the end persay... but I do need to figure out how to get the highest score possible. We're picking 1 tile per row.
What I do know so far (i could be wrong):
If the row has 8 tiles, and we pick tile numbered 8, then our chances of hitting the "death tile" is 22.22%.
If a row has 3 tiles, and we pick the tile numbered 3, then our chances of hitting the "death tile" is 50%.
Thus, it is a higher ROI and the smart thing to do to pick 8 on an 8 tile row, versus picking 3 on a 3 tile row because the chance of us succeeding is higher on the 8 tile row.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP. I AM PLAYIN AN ACTUAL GAME AND I'D LIKE TO SOLVE IT.
