Forecasting how many employees would be impacted by grief
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Our company (http://empathy.com/)) is helping families dealing with loss. One of our main distribution channels is through employers (looking to help grieving employees and get them back on track quickly).
We are looking to build a statistical model that could roughly predict the % of employees who would encounter grief in the next year.
To do that, we need to factor the different bereavement scenarios one can encounter.
Loss of a:
1. parent (incl. step-parents)
2. spouse
3. sibling
4. child (including miscarrige)
5. grandparent
And, in a different index - the loss of a pet
To simplify, we would like the input to be the company employees; avg. age, and the output - the % of employees would encounter grief.
We would overlook (for now) the company's industry, location, and size.
