Dementia Risk Screener Development for India -- 2
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Objective:
To develop a scientifically grounded, user-friendly dementia risk screener specifically for the Indian population, incorporating risk factors like age and gender as well as 14 modifiable risk factors with a weighted scoring algorithm based on the best available evidence.
Key Deliverables:
1. Review and synthesize key peer-reviewed studies, national health
surveys, and supplementary data to extract:
■ Prevalence data for each of the 15 risk factors in India (preferably
from LASI-DAD, NSSO, NFHS, or other credible national datasets)
■ Risk weights (RRs or ORs) for each factor from Indian studies where
available
■ Supplement gaps with international meta-analyses (e.g., Lancet
Commission, LIBRA, CogDrisk, CAIDE)
■ Extract or estimate β-coefficients from available ORs/RRs
2. Develop a risk scoring algorithm using available β-coefficients or scaled
risk weights
3. Adapt existing questionnaire
4. Documentation & Table Output
