Changes to appearance of graphs in Stata
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I am researching gold prices and have some issues with the appearance of my graphs. I can't work out how to line the x ticks on the graphs to line up with the actual days of the week and months (months are on other graphs).
I have attached an extract of the data file and the do file. The full files are significantly bigger but this gives you a good idea of what I am trying to achieve. I can see this as under an hours work for someone who knows a bit more about this than I.
Please see the attached graph, it is the volume of traded gold each day averaged and displayed weekly. If you look at the x ticks the number of ticks and number of days in a week don't line up. I know you can change the x tick numbers in the graph appearances but it doesn't work and always glitches so there must be another way. It could possibly be the format or I might be missing something simple. I have spent way too much time trying to work it out.
Please only contact me if you are competent in Stata (this isn't software you can pick up quickly).
There will be other work available afterwards if you want.
