Bland-Altman Analysis Expert
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I am writing to inquire whether you would be available to provide statistical support for a prospective research project I am currently conducting. The study is complete in terms of data collection and laboratory analysis, and I am now seeking guidance on the most appropriate statistical analyses and interpretation.
Project title:
Reference intervals for FIBTEM measurements using the ROTEM® gamma device in healthy dogs compared to fibrinogen concentration measured by the Clauss assay.
Study objectives:
1. To establish reference intervals for FIBTEM parameters obtained using the ROTEM® gamma device in healthy dogs.
2. To assess the clinical acceptability of these reference intervals compared to fibrinogen concentration measured by the Clauss assay.
Dataset overview:
The dataset includes 40 clinically healthy dogs. All variables are numerical and include:
* FIBTEM parameters (CT, CFT, MCF, α-angle, A5/A10, ML)
* Clauss fibrinogen concentration
* CBC-derived values (e.g., platelet count, hematocrit)
* Patient variables (age, weight, breed)
Data have been collected, entered, and cleaned in Excel.
Planned analyses:
I plan to:
*Establish reference intervals for FIBTEM parameters using descriptive statistics (mean, median, SD, range, and 2.5th–97th percentiles with 90% confidence intervals).
* Assess correlations between Clauss fibrinogen concentration and FIBTEM parameters using Spearman’s correlation.
* Perform Bland–Altman analysis to evaluate agreement and quantify bias between FIBTEM measurements and Clauss fibrinogen.
* Significance set at p < 0.05.
Additional objective (model development):
I am particularly interested in exploring whether it would be feasible to develop a predictive equation to estimate fibrinogen concentration from FIBTEM parameters, potentially incorporating relevant covariates such as platelet count, hematocrit, age, or body weight.
Request for statistical support:
I would like to ask if you would be willing to perform these statistical analyses and provide guidance on the interpretation and presentation of the results, including the development and validation of a predictive equation if appropriate. I would be happy to discuss the scope of the analyses, timelines, and any preferred formats for data transfer.
I can provide the full dataset, study protocol, and ethics approval documentation at your convenience and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with you on this project.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Kind regards,
Tanarut
