Efficacy of mHealth Apps in Oral Health Promotion for Preschoolers
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am preparing a peer-reviewed paper that quantifies the efficacy of mobile health (mHealth) applications for oral health promotion in preschoolers.
What I need from you is the full workflow of a PRISMA-compliant systematic review and meta-analysis:
• Develop and register a protocol (PROSPERO).
• Run comprehensive searches in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science and Google Scholar, capturing RCTs and high-quality quasi-experimental studies that report clinical efficacy outcomes for the chosen condition.
• Manage citations (EndNote / Zotero) and draft the PRISMA flow diagram.
• Extract study characteristics and outcome data into a standardized spreadsheet, perform risk-of-bias appraisal (Cochrane RoB 2 or ROBINS-I as appropriate) and grade the overall evidence (GRADE).
• Pool effect sizes using RevMan or R (meta / metafor), report heterogeneity (I², τ²), conduct sensitivity and subgroup analyses where data permit, and assess publication bias with funnel plots and Egger’s test.
• Provide a fully written results section and discussion, formatted for a target Q1 digital health journal, plus all appendices (search strings, data tables, risk-of-bias graphs, forest and funnel plots).
I will review interim outputs at each key milestone: search strategy, extracted dataset, statistical code, and draft manuscript. Clear, reproducible code, transparent data handling and adherence to PRISMA 2020 are essential for acceptance.
