We are a fourth year Physiotherapy group who are doing our study on the "Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the physical health of health care science students". We will send our an online survey to third and fourth year students at UP to be completed on google forms, afterwhich the data will be coded and cleaned on an excel spreadsheet and be sent to a statistician for inferential statistic analysis. We thought of using the Chi-square test and ANOVA for that purpose.
The aim of our study is to establish the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the physical health of SoHCS students at the University of Pretoria.
Our objectives are the following: ● To determine the contributing factors to the change in physical health during the COVID-19 pandemic at the University of Pretoria.
● To establish the impact of online studies on the physical health of SoHCS students at the University of Pretoria.
● To determine the influence lockdown sport and recreation restrictions had on the physical health of SoHCS students at the University of Pretoria.
● To establish the change in the level of physical health due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the SoHCS students at the University of Pretoria.
● To compare the variations in the impact of physical health in SoHCS students among the departments at the University of Pretoria.
