Systematic review regarding using GLP 1 in pediatric obesity research
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am preparing a systematic review for journal submission that examines how GLP-1 receptor agonists perform against alternative treatments in managing pediatric obesity. The manuscript must be rigorous enough for peer review, written under PRISMA guidance, and built primarily on evidence drawn from recent meta-analyses.
Here is what I need done from start to finish:
• Fine-tune and execute the database search strategy (MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane, and any additional sources you consider essential).
• Screen, extract, and synthesise data exclusively from meta-analytic studies, ensuring each meets predefined quality thresholds.
• Provide a clear comparative narrative and quantitative synthesis contrasting GLP-1 with lifestyle, pharmacologic, and surgical interventions whenever the literature permits.
• Perform risk-of-bias and quality assessments using AMSTAR-2 or ROBIS, and summarise evidence strength with GRADE.
• Draft every section of the paper—title page, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions—respecting the target journal’s author instructions and citation style.
• Supply a completed PRISMA flow diagram, checklist, and all tables/figures (forest plots, GRADE summary, etc.) in editable form, plus a clean reference library (EndNote, Zotero, or RIS).
Acceptance criteria: a c. 5,000-word manuscript ready for submission, with all supplementary files, that clearly shows how GLP-1 compares with other therapeutic options in children and adolescents.
