Economic Consultant based in Developing Economy To Oversee and Deliver Modeling and Writing Projects
Summary
Research Director
• Flexible time zones (e.g. IST), but Fluent English essential
• 10-15 years in economic consulting with experience at major consulting firm like Deloitte, Accenture, Oxford, Frontier or EY
o Deep experience building, auditing and overseeing financial, economic or statistical models, based on proprietary client data and data/assumptions drawn from literature review, surveys and public data sources (e.g. country statistical agencies and international organizations).
o Extensive experience authoring, editing and proofreading public-facing reports for clients in English
o Strong eye for compelling report design to produce eye-catching research reports using simple, plain language for non-expert readers
• Prefer experience working in public policy, politics, government, government relations or at a political/policy lobbying/advocacy or PR/communications firm - but not essential
• Senior-level experience managing projects for clients, including extensive client engagement and working with external consultants and/or junior team members
• Business development / sales experience a plus but not essential
• Advanced degree required in economics, econometrics, mathematics, statistics or similar subject
• Law degree or graduate degree in public policy a plus, but not essential
• Media experience (eg talking to journalists/reporters about findings of economic reports) a plus but not essential
