Public Opinion Survey Designer
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I am setting up a new, fully-remote research initiative and require an experienced hand to shape the public opinion studies we will run over the coming months. The core of the job is survey design: turning study objectives into clear, unbiased questionnaires and building a sampling strategy that will give us statistically valid, nationally representative results. Because I am scheduling daily collaboration windows, please be comfortable dedicating roughly an 8-hour block each day (Indian business hours preferred, though I am flexible).
What you will handle
• Questionnaire design – draft, refine, and finalise every item so it captures attitude and sentiment without leading the respondent.
• Sampling methods – recommend sampling frames, calculate required sizes, and map quotas to ensure demographic balance across regions, age, gender, and socio-economic segments.
Deliverables I expect at the end of each survey wave:
1. A polished questionnaire in Word/Google Docs.
2. A sampling plan with justification, respondent counts, and recruitment notes in Excel/Sheets.
3. A short methodological note explaining choices made, ready for inclusion in client reports.
I am happy to discuss survey software preferences (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, etc.) and any statistical tools you use for sample calculations. Clarity, methodological rigour, and adherence to deadlines will decide the final selection.
