Proposed Topic for Individual Project – Development and Presentation Masters Degree Clinical Psychology
Theme: Development of a data management application for didactic processes, based on a topic of your choice.
The individual project consists of two modules (files):
• A descriptive module (a word-processed document)
• A calculation module (developed in a data processing application)
The project should generally follow the structure below, tailored to the specifics of your specialization:
1. Formulation of the theme/topic, including the objectives/requirements proposed for the project.
2. Specification of the studied characteristic(s), data volume/sample size, etc.
3. Data collection (miniaturized), with sources indicated (e.g., yearbooks, surveys, questionnaires, or other sources).
4. Preliminary data processing, such as coding, systematizing, grouping, etc.
5. Selection, use, and description of data analysis methods (e.g., frequency analysis, descriptive indicators, formulas for analysis, analytical prediction in research data analysis, etc.).
6. Basic operations, such as data entry, formatting, selection, validation, sorting, filtering, consolidation, graphical representation, etc.
7. Numeric/statistical calculations using:
o Data from multiple pages
o Arithmetic and logical operators
o Relative/mixed/absolute references
o Various functions (manually entered or predefined/selected from menus).
8. Measurement and analysis of indicators and indices.
9. Graphical representations.
10. Interpretation of processing results.
11. Formulation and testing of hypotheses to support decision-making.
12. Formulation of final conclusions.
13. Identification of potential development opportunities for the project.
Note:
The project/case study/research should be completed based on a topic and subject of your choice:
a. Directly/indirectly related to your undergraduate/master’s specialization within the professional field of expertise.
b. A subject selected or preferred from the studied documentation.
