Plan for using a nonparametric test in my thesis

The plan must cover the following topics:
What is the main research question?
-should not be too general and also not too narrow
Describe what type of data do you have (or are planning to collect) for your dependent and independent variables
-quantitative/qualitative; numerical/categorical; scale/ordinal/nominal
Explain (justify) why a nonparametric test would be suitable
-assumptions of parametric and nonparametric statistical tests
Describe which nonparametric test would be suitable and explain why, based on your research needs
-independent groups (unpaired data) or dependent groups (paired data); two groups or more than two groups; differences or relationships; sufficiency or necessity
Point out the limitations of your study and how could these potentially affect your research results
-e.g. sample size, data reliability threats, possible biases in the data
