My research paper title is: An assessment of Human recognition Deprivation among women and it’s role in socio-economic development in South Africa.
Synopsis:
This paper will be identifying the extent of human deprivation disparity among South African women. This paper will be basically assessing the degree of human recognition among women.
Dataset:
Demographic and health survey data from South Africa for2016. This dataset is available to the
public from the DHS website.
What needs to be done:
Based on the demographic and health survey from South Africa for 2016, I need to use the Alkire-foster method to develop the multidimensional deprivation index. I need to basically develop an index of human recognition using the Alkire foster method.
I need to extract the deprivation headcount ratio, deprivation intensityand the overall development index. I need to also state the choice of domains, indicators based on the HRD index, as well as the deprivation cut
offs.
In addition, I need to use STATA in order to develop a logistic regression model (simple logic) in order to estimate the possibility of recognition deprivation using independent variables, namely, education, age, occupation and household status and the dependent variable being the index of human recognition.
Using Stata I need to use pseudo-Rsquared in order to measure the goodness of fit of my model. I also need to be using the Wald chi-squared test in order to assess the significance of the explanatory variables.
Please see this paper as an example of what is required on the methodology side. I need to do a similar analysis.
