NAFTA & ASEAN Trade Data collection
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a candidate to gather specific data in Excel for further analysis in STATA. This data analysis will focus on the flows between the members of NAFTA & ASEAN Trade Flow.
Key Requirements:
- Data should start from 1980 for both ASEAN/AFTA and NAFTA/USMCA.
- The variables required: (total_trade, exports, imports), GDP of exporting and importing countries (gdp_i, gdp_j), population of exporting and importing countries (population_i, population_j), geographical distance (distance_ij), regional trade agreement dummy (rta_ij), common language (common_language), common border (border), tariff rates (tariff_rate), non-tariff barriers (ntb), rules of origin (rules_of_origin), exchange rates (exchange_rate), inflation rates (inflation_rate), dummy variables for specific years or events (year_dummy).
- All sources where data was collected from and instructions how to obtain it should be shared as well.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Excel for data gathering.
- Strong background in data analysis, preferably in the realm of international trade.
- Experience with STATA would be a significant advantage.
