Medical Research Data Integrity Editing

Job ID: 40464259

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a collection of medical-science research papers and accompanying technical data reports that need a sharp editorial eye. The priority is to verify every figure, percentage, and statistical reference so that the numbers in the tables, charts, and narrative all align perfectly. While doing that, you will also polish grammar, tighten syntax, and reshape any heavy jargon into clear, reader-friendly language—without diluting the scientific meaning.

What you will handle
• Cross-check datasets, tables, and graphs against the written discussion and flag or correct any discrepancies.
• Copy-edit for clarity, flow, and consistency, making sure terminology stays accurate across the documents.
• Re-format citations and references to a mainstream academic style; if you already work in APA, MLA, or Chicago, tell me and we will settle on the most appropriate guide before you start.
• Deliver clean Word files with change-tracking enabled so I can review every amendment quickly.

Acceptance criteria
1. All numerical references match their source tables/figures.
2. Language reads smoothly at a postgraduate level, free of grammatical or stylistic errors.
3. References are consistently formatted in the agreed style.
4. Final files arrive by the mutually agreed deadline.

You will be editing in Microsoft Word; the datasets are in Excel, so comfort moving between both is essential. If you have a background in medical or life-science publishing, please highlight it—experience interpreting clinical or laboratory statistics will be a real advantage.
