Link Analysis Project Report
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
Find a dataset suitable for link analysis and use Gephi or IPython Notebook with the networkx package to analyze the data. Your analysis, should proceed as follows:
1) Determine the global qualities of the network such as its diameter, clustering coefficient, etc. Describe the properties and determine whether the network exhibits small-worldness or other properties.
2) Find the most important nodes. Use various algorithms for this, such as betweeneess centrality, PageRank, and HITS. Given what you know about the data, try to assess what this tells you about the nodes.
3) Find communities in the network. Based on what you know about the data, try to provide a short label for each community that would identify its properties.
Visualize the results. Describe the data, methodology, and results in a formal technical report. Use the attached template. Make sure to include figures and tables that describe the process and the outcomes, and reference them from the text. Submit your report using a PDF document format.
