Fix Excel Metamerism Index
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My worksheet should calculate the metamerie index of a test light source against the D65 reference.
I already entered the complete spectral power distribution of the lamp and all the standard formulas, and I know the correct final value from a published reference. Unfortunately, the number my file returns is off, and after several rounds of checking I still cannot spot where the error creeps in.
I suspect the problem sits inside one or more formulas rather than in the raw data or formatting. I can share the workbook and a separate note that lists every step of the calculation chain (colour‐matching functions, tristimulus values, chromatic adaptation, ΔE, etc.). I’m not yet sure which cell or range is causing trouble, so I need a fresh pair of expert eyes to audit the logic, fix the culprit, and hand back a sheet that produces the verified result.
A short explanation of what you changed will be appreciated so I can learn from the correction.
The expert needs to have experience in color formulas
