Excel Statistical Analysis & Office Support
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for a detail-minded professional who can take charge of the statistical analysis that underpins many of our decisions while also keeping our day-to-day office processes running smoothly.
The core of the role is in Excel. You’ll receive raw datasets from ongoing projects; I need you to clean them, choose and apply the appropriate statistical tests, and present the findings in a way that a non-technical audience can grasp. If you’re comfortable turning those insights into clear tables, pivot reports, and the occasional chart, that’s perfect.
Beyond the spreadsheets, I’ll rely on you to:
• Draft or polish client-facing documents in Word, ensuring a consistent tone and layout
• Build concise PowerPoint decks that showcase the key numbers and recommendations
• Maintain both our digital and physical filing systems so information is always retrievable
• Coordinate everyday office communication—email follow-ups, meeting minutes, and logistics—so nothing slips through the cracks
Deliverables I expect on a recurring basis:
1. An Excel workbook with cleaned data, formulas/macros documented, and a summary sheet of statistical results
2. A short written interpretation of those results suitable for inclusion in proposals or reports
3. When needed, a slide or two translating the numbers into visuals for senior leaders
4. An updated, well-organized folder structure (cloud and hard copy) with naming conventions we’ll agree on
If you’ve previously handled ANOVA, regression, or hypothesis testing in Excel—and can juggle regular office tasks without missing a beat—we’ll be a great fit. Let me know your experience with similar multi-faceted roles and how soon you could start.
